GAHUM is operated by LotteWare Solution in Ontario, Canada. Its owner is responsible for handling privacy questions and requests. Email hello@lottewaresolution.com.

Your analysis stays in your browser

GAHUM calculates locally. It does not upload imported files, your Power System, Problem inputs, analysis results or Study Report metadata to a server. Study Report text is generated in the browser without an AI service. Downloaded reports contain no scripts or remote font requests.

There are no GAHUM accounts, advertising trackers or visitor analytics. Opening the app still contacts the site host to download its files. Fonts and libraries are served with the app rather than requested from Google Fonts or a library CDN. See the third-party notices.

Browser storage and downloads

The app uses local storage to save your Power System, Problem inputs, display preferences and report metadata. Names you enter in these fields are part of the saved copy. A service worker caches application files for offline study after they have loaded. After you enable maps, your browser may cache viewed map resources according to the providers' HTTP cache headers. The app does not download map areas for offline use or keep a separate map cache; map availability is not guaranteed offline.

Storage belongs to your browser profile. Anyone with access to that profile may be able to read it. It is not an account backup, and it can be removed by private browsing, storage limits, browser settings or clearing site data. If storage is unavailable, calculations can still run, but work may not survive a reload. Download work you need to keep.

Use your browser's site-data controls for this site to remove local storage and the app cache. Use its controls for clearing cached files to remove HTTP-cached map resources. This does not delete downloaded files, emails or copies you have shared.

Hosting and request information

Microsoft Azure Static Web Apps hosts GAHUM. Requests necessarily reach Microsoft's infrastructure with your IP address, the requested resource and browser/network metadata. LotteWare Solution has not enabled request logging or Application Insights for this site.

That setting does not mean Microsoft performs no service or security logging. Provider processing and retention are governed by Microsoft's service arrangements; we have not verified a site-specific retention period for Microsoft's own records. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement. Hosting and optional map services may process requests outside Canada.

Optional maps

The app starts in the single line diagram (SLD). Choosing Map View first explains the external requests. Only Enable maps starts the map libraries and geographic services. Declining, closing the choice or changing the theme does not enable maps.

Providers receive your IP address and requested resource, with browser and referrer information according to your browser and the site's referrer policy. Tiles and bounding boxes can reveal the area you are viewing or studying, including when a map fits itself to your Power System. The app does not send your electrical model to these services. A provider's failed request may still disclose the requested area.

The choice lasts for this page session only. Maps may continue requesting resources when you switch back to the SLD. Use Disable maps & reload to stop map activity and return to the SLD. Saved inputs remain where browser storage is available; analysis results are recalculated. Reloading or opening a new tab always requires a new map choice. Disabling cannot recall requests already sent or erase providers' records; clear site data separately to remove cached resources.

If you email us

Your email address, message and attachments are received through Proton Mail so we can respond. This email service processes information outside Canada. Do not include confidential model files unless they are needed for your request. We delete ordinary support emails within 12 months after the conversation is resolved, keeping records longer only for unresolved matters or legal requirements.

Proton's own processing includes email metadata, and its encrypted backups may retain deleted content for up to 30 days under its published policy. Mailbox deletion does not remove copies held by your own email service or other recipients. See the Proton Mail Privacy Policy.

Questions, access and corrections

Contact us using the address above to ask about information we hold, request access or correction, request deletion, or raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity and may need to retain records where required by law. We cannot retrieve or delete the Power System stored only in your browser; use your browser's site-data controls for that copy.

You can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. This notice will be updated when the app's data handling changes.
