CDF Import

Load an IEEE Common Data Format case — choose a file, or paste the text for a small hand-typed one. The import reports anything it had to drop or repair.

PSS/E Import

Load a PSS/E .raw case (revisions 32 and 33). A real case is far too large to paste, so choose the file — the textarea is for small hand-typed cases. The import is lossy by construction and lists everything it dropped.

PowerFactory DGS Import

Load a PowerFactory .dgs interchange case (the ASCII export — a .pfd project archive cannot be read). The import is lossy by construction, lists everything it dropped, and says when the file does not designate a reference bus and what it chose instead.

Map

Map editor

The map is a geographic editor of the power system. Click a bus or line to select it, arm Drag bus to move the selected bus, Add bus then click the map to drop a new one, or Add branch then drag from one bus to another to connect them. The real OpenStreetMap power grid shows underneath, and solved flows animate along the lines.

Offline note

The power system is stored with localStorage in the browser and persists offline after the page has loaded. OpenStreetMap tiles still depend on network access or browser cache.
