Research and study

GAHUM is a research and study tool. Independently verify inputs and results. It is not validated for operational control, safety-critical decisions, protection settings or regulatory certification.

Results depend on the Power System, supplied data, assumptions and numerical methods. Review units, physical bases, topology, equipment limits, import warnings, repaired or defaulted values, and each analysis's limitations. A converged calculation does not establish that a model represents a real installation or satisfies a technical standard. Failure to converge does not by itself prove that no solution exists.

Study Reports and Problem answers describe calculations under their stated conditions. They are not professional engineering advice, an approval to operate equipment, or a substitute for site-specific studies and appropriately qualified review. Example cases and geographic overlays are not verified models of the real assets whose locations or names appear.

Permission to use the hosted app

The hosted GAHUM app is free to use. LotteWare Solution permits you to use its hosted GAHUM app, including the browser copies and cache needed to run it and its provided download and export functions. GAHUM-owned code and assets are proprietary. This permission does not authorize redistribution, sublicensing, sale or publication of that code or those assets, or distribution of modified versions. Ask for separate permission for those uses. See the software notice.

You retain any rights you have in your inputs and resulting material. Local processing does not transfer those rights to us. You are responsible for having permission to use and share material you import or include in a download. Exporting a report does not grant rights in third-party case data, maps or other included material.

Third-party components remain governed by their own licenses, including any rights those licenses give you. Our proprietary notice does not restrict those rights. See the third-party notices. Names of standards, products, formats and organizations identify references or limited compatibility; they do not imply affiliation, endorsement, certification or complete compatibility.

Storage, privacy and availability

Keep independent downloads of work you need. Browser storage can be unavailable, cleared or lost. There is no account backup or promised recovery or synchronization between devices. Inspect downloads for confidential data or personal names before sharing them.

The app and external map services may be interrupted, changed or withdrawn. No continuous availability, maintenance period or support response time is promised unless separately agreed in writing. The privacy notice explains local processing, hosting, optional maps and contact-email retention.

Warranties and responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, GAHUM is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, reliability or uninterrupted operation. No example, result or reference to a standard is a warranty or certification. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, LotteWare Solution excludes liability for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or loss of data arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on GAHUM. Independently verify results before relying on them.

This exclusion does not apply to fraud, deliberate misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Mandatory consumer and other statutory rights remain unaffected. These terms do not require arbitration, prevent a complaint to a regulator, or waive access to courts or any other non-waivable remedy.

Applicable law and changes

These terms are governed by Ontario law and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, subject to mandatory protections that apply where you live. No exclusive court or forum is selected here.

Revisions will carry an updated date. Changes do not retroactively remove rights that have already arisen. Where the law requires notice or acceptance of a change, those requirements still apply; a link to this page alone is not a record of your acceptance.
